Very rough downshifts
Hello,
A friend of mine has a 1999 SW2 with an automatic transmission. It runs well, but when it downsifts from 4th to 3rd (in the highway, to accelerate), it shifts VERY harshly. The other gears appear to be mostly OK. The fluid and filter are new. He added some Lucas transmission conditioner, but it's only gotten worse.
Any ideas on what to check?
