I have a 2001Saturn SL. Im in the process of changing my transmission oil, but I was thinking about changingit out with Mobile 1 synthetic. My question is, can I drain the factory Saturn oil, change the filter and refill with the synthetic oil or will the transmission have to be flushed before I can refill with synthetic. If anyone can help I would definetly appreciate it.

I would flush it. I don't car if it would cause a problem or not.. My trans will have only one kind of oil in it.
