Default Timing cover looks a little cracked

Visual and certainly feelable cracks with the fingernail. Probably cut your finger if you tried. Most the cracks are vertical, none all the way through.
Thoughts? I'm going to bolt it back on

Since those lines are vertical, I'm under the impression that it's just where the cover came out of the mold and you don't need to worry about it. BUT, I'm not a mechanic, so you probably need to get some more feedback.
