1999 sw1, alritey boys n girls, i have codes: po732, po733, po734. goes alright from a stop, then wont upshift and engine free spins with no trans engagement until i come to a stop. any ideas? thanks!

 

Ayup -- Them's transmission failure codes, alright. Looks like a transmission teardown might be in order, but check your IGN3 fuse in the instrument panel junction box (IPJB) first, and also replace the A/TRAN relay in the under hood junction box (UHJB). You might just get lucky

 

checked all fuses, they are good. could not find a/tran relay in uhjb. nothing is labeled like that. where is it located?

 

As I recollect, look at the UHJB in such a manner so that the relays kinda looks like the letter "L" (down the left side and across the bottom) The tranny relay should be the one on the bottom row -- far right

 

might this not be valve body related?

 

i'm thinking solenoids or valve body maybe? heres my uhjb by the way.

swapped out the wrong pcm to a pcm out of a 99 sw1 and ......voila!!!! everything works properly!!
