Question Which of these two Air Pumps will fit? 2 Different Parts list for Replacement for SL1

According to alldatadiy.com regarding the replacement part for the Air Pump
To 6/00 = part number 21015056
From 6/00 = part number 21015184

Which of these do I need? I have a 2001 Saturn SL1

However, don't know what 6/00 means. How can I use that value to identify which part I need?

Well, I do have a Sedan so it would be part # 21015184.
However, I am still wondering what 6/00, as understanding that value will help me in the future.
What's more, 21015184 is a hard to find part, while 21015056 is very easy to locate.
So, can I use 21015056 in in my Sedan 2001 SL1? What's really the difference?

6/00 is the production date part change. You have a 2001 model so it is pretty safe to say you have the after 6/00 car. There is a sticker on the driver’s door jam that should show the build month and year.

Thank you,
My production date code is 11/00 so I have that answer now.
But, can I use 21015056 in in my Sedan 2001 SL1?
I can't even find a single new 21015184 anywhere.I've searched a whole bunch of car part stores and websites. Yet, the 21015056 is sold all over.

Thanks for the link to Tonkin, though for over $300 for the pump, you're right, they are expensive, like triple the original price.

Okay guys, get this:

I noticed on my Air Pump and also on some I see on pictures for part # 21015184
The following text occurs: Pierburg PA6-GF30
When I search for pumps with Pierburg PA6-GF30, I do find results that look just like mine, and for $100 bucks too, new even.
I'm thinking Pierburg makes the same pump for different makes, and each make has it's own part #...
I just bite and tried this: https://tinyurl.com/yclh2pz4
(despite his No Returns Policy, eBay and PayPal always let buyers return)

Did you ever get this problem solved?

I'm in the same boat as you. Need the 21015184 air pump for my 2001 SC2 and cannot find it anywhere.

What was your end solution?
