Default SL2 not starting after warm

strange problem is been happening with my saturn, i go to work everyday in the morning and starts fine drives fine, maybe alittle chug/bucking here and there but nothing bad. Park her at work and 4 hours later go to get lunch she cranks and struggles to start but nothing just wont start. So 4hrs later when its time to go home and the motor im sure is completely cooled off she starts alittle rough but gets running and works perfect. wtf is wrong wit my saturn lol. gm built a great reliable motor(Meaning the motor itself) but everything else on these damn cars doesnt seem to last lol. any u guys think it might be, 192k on here >.> new rad, new thermo, new coolant temp sense

Tell me please, when you try to start your car at lunch time (and cannot), check in the engine compartment to see if you smell fuel (rich/flooded condition) ...

yes i do smell gas and its throwing a check engine light for rich fuel, i checked my A/F's and she is running 13.9 at idle!! and 15.2 when reving!! but she doesnt seem to be burning any oil burning rich. im also getting a 6x signal error on the crank, i smacked the crank angle sensor around but it didnt do anything

Sounds like two different issues at work here, both contributing to the problem(s) you are experiencing. First thing I would do, is to replace the CONNECTOR for the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS). The system is seeing a very high resistance reading, which makes the computer think that engine temperatures are at or below freezing. That causes the system to adjust the fuel mixture ratio and timing accordingly, but since that is bogus data, you get rich fuel condition and screwy advance on your timing. There is an outside chance that the ECTS you replaced a while back may be bad, so you might have to change that again too.

I do not recommend smacking the Crank Position Sensor (CPS); they can be damaged easily. Think seriously about replacing it as well (connector also). That should straighten out your problems ...
