any suggestions


i have a 94 sl2 was running great until the idling started reving on its own...fluctuating up and down.


what i did - cleaned and checked all throttle body parts..sensor, inlet air valve all checked out okay...end result after cleaning throttle valve and air inlet valve = car now stalls as rpms drop right down and i need to hold the gas to keep them up or it flutters and dies on me


also, not sure why but engine cooling fan always comes on even when i turn on the car, plus i can''''t read codes because no engine light comes on, even with these problems and jumping b-a terminals to get codes??


any ideas - get new pcm???


checked all components and all looks good - reference voltages, range voltages.


any help would be great...any contact tosecond handpcm''''s too?

Coolant temperature sensor. You car has two, replace the two wire one.

just pump the egr valve about 4-5 times usually it stops or-else just change the egr valve..
