i have a saturn sl1, but its not the car im talking about...
a buddy of mine has a sl2 and hes wondering how he can remove his governor... anyone know where it is on the sl2?

Check under the stupid reflector panel. It's in the back.

The wiring harness to it is damn near invisible -- keep searching with a forceps until you find the blue lead.

Hook the read lead with the forceps and pull quickly but firmly, rotating 180 degrees, while downshifting from 5th to 3rd at highway speed.

Note: This must be done by a single person (the driver), as the car needs to sense your foot on the throttle in a pulsing pattern--you cannot fake it with cruise control. Otherwise the harness will not come free.

Sneaky tamperproof sh*t -- I wrecked 2 coupes and a sedan figuring this out.......

derf, I have a question for ya.


Do you know how to re time a S&W revolver?


If you do, I would like to discuss your opinion on weather it is better to replace the hand or cylinder stop, or maybe both.


If you don't I guess your just stupid.


I happen to be considered an expert by some people onS&W revolvers, I figure I have more to learn.


Regardless I would never figure your stupid.

Which model S&W? Do you mean a Model 25-13 ? Or an older one?

Are you asking whether I know how to ensure that the cylinder is squarely aligned with the forcing cone and locked into position before the hammer drops?

And if I know that I should probably hold the gun upside down, and
slowly **** the hammer, watch the cylinder latch (at the bottom
of the cylinder between the frame and the cylinder), and watch
how far it pulls into the frame, then how quickly it pops back
out to the groove on the side of the cylinder to the notch that
the latch then drops
into one of the 6 notches on the side of the cylinder.

I believe it should drop about a third of the way into the groove that tapers down
to the notch. Too soon and you'll end up with a scratch that leads to the
notch, too late and the cylinder can skip a round if you double
action fire the gun.
