Power steering Leak… REALLY BAD !!!
Hi all, i have a 2001 sl1 with the SOHC. I had 0 power steering fluid in my car this morning and put in some Lucas stop leak since it was all i had just to get me to the parts store. Then i flushed it in the parking lot and put clean fluid and it was working fine. However, on the way home it now is pissing all the fluid out and I’m thinking that the stop leak is now out of the system and I’ve got a major leak. I can’t see if it’s from the rack but i believe it’s from the pump/reservoir. I need my car the next few days until the new one comes in.
what do i do??? Just mix up some Lucas and ps fluid and send it until i get the new pump??

If possible (it usually is), try to identify which component is leaking, and the exact location of the leak. Sometimes power steering fluid can leak out from something as simple as a loose or broken hose clamp. Your leak seems to be large, so it shouldn't be too difficult to inspect and identify where it is coming from exactly. Then wheb you know where the fluid is leaking from you can determine what to do next.
That's the pressure switch and it's a common failure point.
