Sounds like battery has a bad cell, or you still have a significant drain somewhere in the system.....or your alternator is partly toasted--but get battery tested first.....

I put a new battery in after changing the negative wire. I am going to change out the alternator and I am hoping that will finish this issue. There could still be a blown fusible link somewhere that I can't find.

a blown fuseable link would result in a lack of current flow, no?

First, Thanks for your help OceanArcher and Derf. You helped out tons. Second, it turned out to be both the negative battery cable AND the alternator. Just finished changing the alternator and voltage is at 14.5V. Looking good!

you're welcome -- always happy to get someone back on the road -- these cars are too much fun to drive to have them sit idle over weekend mechanic type stuff
