My brother has a 2000 Saturn not sure if it''s an SL 1 or 2? with probably over 80,000 miles and atomatic transmission. He''s been keeping it pretty well maintained but just moved his car this morning to shovel out the driveway, then he moved it back. He went out a little later and couldn''t start it as the key or steering wheel I should say was locked and he couldn''t turn the key. It''s happened before and usually a good tug on the steering wheel will free it up so you can insert the key and start the engine but not this time. Does this sound like the safey nuetral switch and how much to replace it? Respond to pospielg@yahoo.com

thanks

Start by having a new key cut by the DEALER.

The safety neutral switch has nothing what so ever to do with the ability to turn the keyswitch on the steering column. Like SW2cam says - get a new key cut by the DEALER
