Hey Derf, I found where you say I stated that is was being sold as a daily driver. That was in the classified section.
I'm going to ask you here the same question I asked in that thread:
Where do you see I mentioned selling this car as a daily driver.
And you had indicated that I mentioned it on the post above the one of you accusing me of selling as a D.D.
I really don't understand why you are ******* me.
Anyway, whatever.

Papor -- he has a DOHC -- the motor in your salvage title vehicle is a SOHC, so it won't be a direct swap...

For the record, you might get better attention if you list the model correctly on ebay -- it's an SL1 not an L series........

just tryin' to help you out

Thanks Derf, your right. I noticed that right after I listed it. I did it at work so I was rushing it. I didn't want to revise so I figured I'd get people just to ask me those questions. Thanks for the heads up.

That's one approach -- but if people are searching for "SL" they will never find it....

I took it to a mechanic to find out that the head itself is cracked. He quoted about 2000 dollars to do that (I paid 2600 for the whole car). Luckily I knew a guy who knew a guy who will fix it for me. [=

Really sucks realizing that your car is pretty much totaled and you weren't in an accident or anything...

Did you ever do compression check? What were the results?
