I recently replaced the Cylinder Head - the old one cracked and put oil to antifreeze. The antifreeze is now clear but I'm getting clicking noise from the engine in sync with RPM.
Also I noticed the "OIL" warning light is blinking sometimes at idle in gear.
Am I loosing oil pressure ? Did I put the engine together wrong way ?
What if I'm getting that clicking noise is because the hydraulic lifters are not getting enough oil pressure from the oil pump ?
What can I do to find that

 

Test the oil pressure with a known good oil pressure gauge to see if the sender is bad.
If the engine is being noisy, I'd leave it parked until you test it / get it tested

 

You need a new engine. Your bearings are being wiped. Glycol is bad in oil.

 

Is it that EthGly reduces the viscosity of the oil to the point that the oil pump can't disperse the mixture, and any that reaches the parts doesn't lubricate because the mix no longer behaves as an oil bc it no longer has those properties?

 

What happens is the glycol adheres to the oil and forms globules that block the oil galleries and starve the bearings.
