Default no spark???

Ok...I have a 1992 sl2 5-speed that I just swapped the trans from a 1994 sl2. Before the swap I had intermittent starting problems remedied by removing the coils/module and then reinstalling them, which worked. Now when I try anything it just cranks but won't start. I replaced the cps and the ects and still won't start...any ideas are greatly appreciated

in case it helps...I removed the a/c system and deleted the power steering pump, also I made a ground for each coil pack, because i thought that could have been the problem.

Curiousity forces me to ask -- why delete the power steering pump ???

I deleted the pump because it didn't work previously and it was simple to remove and I was ok with the lack of power steering...any ideas on my actual problem though?

Well, I asked because there is a pressure switch associated with the power steering that sends a signal back to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

Ya I saw the sensor on the resevoir...could that create a no spark situation? I would just think it would throw a code of some sort
