The engine in our 95 SL is shot (and I don''t have the money to buy a rebuilt one). It''s a 4cyl SOHC.

Can anyone tell me:

Q1: Which model year engines will drop in?

Q2: What would be a typical price for a used (but running) engine?

 

I''ve found a wrecked ''98 SL1 with the 1.9L SOHC engine, will it drop into my ''95 SL1 with a 1.9L SOHC engine?
