I have a sl1 01 sohc motor and looking into a short ram air intake and I''ve narrowed it down to either a aem short ram dohc motor or boomz and a do it your self spectre air intake but I don''t quite understand how it stays in place is there a mounting bracket that comes with the kit? any help would be greatly appreciated and if possibly does any have or know where to find a installation guide, I know it sound stupid but this is my first mod to my saturn besides a muffler so I kinda worried about damaging the car.
Thank you

go with the AEM. They are tryed and true. I would definetly go that route. Usually there will be a flange someone on the pipe that utilizes a stock bolt location.
