Default My Saturn doesn’t take my ox cord

For Christmas my brother bought me an ox cord for my 1995 Saturn sc2 sport. It worked pretty well but would pause and either pick it back up or the more common response being ejecting it. The other the past few days it’s been accepting it fine with the some of those playing “quirks” but for whatever reason it won’t even accept the ox cord.

Please post a picture of the ends of the cord, the two devices you are connecting, and a picture of the cable connection at both ends.

Do you mean aux cable, as in auxiliary cable?

Sounds like the tape player part of the radio is having problems. That is not unusual for a 30 year old tape deck. Probably time for an aftermarket radio install.

Does your tape deck accept other tapes without spitbacks?

Be sure the movable parts of that cassette mechanism are actually moving freely, especially the two simulated Wheels in the middle of the cassette. Most cassette players are designed to pull only so hard, then eject in order to avoid mangling and tearing cassette tapes that are bound up and the tape is not moving.

I remember using one of those tape adapters back in the day.

Pretty sure there is an auxiliary input on the back of those radios. This would allow you to do the same thing only straight into the radio if you are tight on funds. Can't explain how to do it because I have never done it.
