does anyone know if i can take the intake from a 96+ 1.9 sohc and put it on my 92 1.9 sohc?? looking for small things to pick this car up??
if anyones done the intake swap so i need a computer out of the 96+??? help please

 

No,it wont swap, The heads are different where the intake ports are. The 1995+ SOHC heads have a recess for the individual injectors for one.

Even if you wanted to drop a 1995+ SOHC engine into your car, there isnt a PCM to control it. 1991-1994 SOHC''s are TBI, 1995-2002 SOHCs are MPFI. There is no such thing as a 1991-1994 SOHC MPFI PCM. A DOHC swap is your only other option.
