How do i remove the driver door panel on a 1993 Saturn SL1?
I had it all off except by the door handle. I could not get it off. I had all the screws off and even the ones in the handle where you grab it to close the door. It looked like something on the handle where you pull to open and where the lock is, is holding it from comeing off but I could not find anything.

Did you push the retaining pins out ???

 

clips on the rods which actuate the latch must be removed to separate the rods from the inner latch.

 

How do I locate and get at those??

you should be able to see them when you look down (between the door inner panel and metal of the door frame) at the latch area. Be gentle -- they are plastic

 

Thank you. The window wont roll up on Grandmas car and I am afraid the gears are stripped. it goes to a certain point and then the crank just spins and the window wont move. Im thinking I have to replace the window crank track.
