Help! My car wont start!!
Its a waste of more money to have the PCM tested.
Has he looked for corrosion on the positive terminal of the battery? Is he sure the fuel rail is getting fuel? Just because you hear the pump prime doesnt mean there enough fuel pressure present.
It could also be the engine coolant temperature sensor, throttle position sensor, inlet air control sensor. You could of also flooded it by continuin to try to dtart it. Try holding the gas pedal all the way donw then try to start it. This will clear the cylinders if they are flooded. Holding the pedal to the flooor while cranking turns off the injectors. Then after a few seconds, trey to start it.

I said I was a ditz, lol. It isn''t the engine module if that is even such a part, it''s the ignition module. He pulled it off and is taking it to Oreilly''s this morning to have it tested. Yeah he checked the fuel, I can''t tell ya exactly what he did but he said something about making sure fuel was coming thru the filter. That was the first thing he checked. Then he checked the timing, then the coils, now he''s going to replace that ects and have the igniton module tested.
I am glad for you pappa is there to help you out, but he is taking big expensive swings at this problem, and is missing the little inexpensive key components that may be your problem. Please keep us informed..
Well....he got that little computer that checks codes from the parts store and it didn''t read any codes. So my dad is going to try to find a find a gas pressure checker and see if it''s getting enough gas pressure.

Yahoo!!! It was the ECTS. My dad didn''t know that those things could crack, and coolant get inside and short it out. He knows a lot about cars, and couldn''t understand why one of those would cause the car not to start. He did say my coil packs needed to be replaced anyway, so I am glad that he put those on. Thank you, Thank you, for the suggestion of the ECTS.
A bad ECTS does one of two things. Tells the PCM that the engine is wayyyyy colder than it is or wayyyyy hotter. In your case it sounds like it was telling the PCM that is was extremely overheated.
