Hi all. 2002 SL2 with 108k and auto.
It started running rough at low idle and sometimes wouldn't start and sometimes stalled.However, it would start with a jump, but had to keep foot on the gas to keep it running. I researched and watched a bunch of videos where the problem could be a multitude of things.

I removed the wires, plugs, coil packs, ignition module, and disconnected the battery (first). I cleaned, wire brushed, and sprayed electronic cleaner where needed. Reassembled and nothing changed.

Im now leaning toward the battery. Im picking up a new one tomorrow and let you know. In the meantime, any suggestions? It has spark to all 4 plugs, fuel is fine. Thanks! Oh, and battery voltage is charging at around 14v, while resting it's about 12.4v.

 

I'm a fan of testing things. Load test that battery would be the first thing. Might be the last.
