The a/c on my 97 sl stopped working yesterday. clucth will not engage. I've checked the fuses and all good.
Static pressure on the low side is 45. Compressorand clucth plate turns freely. What should i do next?

Ok, I've done some other test. Checked the power to the compressor with the a/c on and there wasn't any at the compressor plug. Installed a jumper wire and the clucth worked but, there was no cold air bowing out of the vent.
Checked low side pressure and it's 45 with clutch ingaged. I have omh out the wire from the a/c relay to the compressor and checked out ok. Also checked for power at the relay from the ecm and found 12 volts. Replaced the a/c relay still the clutch will not kick in.

I had a problem like that with my Saturn turns out that i needed to recharge the A/C with a Refrigerant Retrofit Kit that i got from advance auto parts if you buy it from there, there are instructions that you can follow to re-fill it it's pretty easy. You can try that to see if that works. Heres the link.
