Remove the four screws holding the center console down. Lift it from the rear a few inches, unplug the three electrical connectors attached to the module then remove the module. Its snaps in place.

I found the two screws in the front, but im having trouble finding the other two.......

nothing. just the shifter, E-brake, and a tray.

At the back of the console (behind the e-brake handle)there is a small square piece of carpeted cardboard in the recess. Maybe 3"x3" square. Remove it and there will be two phillips screws under it.

aha! your amazing, i wouldve been searching for days. so i got to the part, and i detached it, but the connecters are on there with freakin'' super glue. i pushed down on the tab and pulled but it didnt budge at all.

Ok, i finally got the connectors off and took the part out. it was so stuck on there because the connectors are HORRIBLY corroded. do you think its the corrosion that made the part not to work? the passenger side worked which leads me to believe it was all the corrosion on the "blue" connector on the module. I have a picture of the corroded connection, but its bad image quality....

the one on the right is terribly corroded-

alright, im gonna scrape these off and rub them down with alcohol. Then ill put it in the car and tell you the news. corrosion destroyed my old camera so i know it does have some bad effects....
