Default 1996 sw2 questions....

Hey guys, have a 1996 sw2 with 108,000 on it. Runs great, but have a couple questions.......

1 the temp warning light comes on randomly, then goes out???????

2 what spark plugs are best, got bosch 4301's.

3 is the sub frame rusting out common on these cars, got it inspected and they told me that the driver's side sub frame was rusting out, will post pics tomorrow, but I don't see it. Maybe someone else can shed some light.

thanks for all help, Chris

Get plugs from the dealer, bring the bosch plugs back
Are you sure it's the water temp light not water level light
Not common for the frames to rust

Plugs -- NGKs per owner's manual

If it is the coolant low light, you need to pull out the coolant reservoir and clean it -- the switch is at the bottom. If you're low on coolant to start with, you have bigger cooling system issues.

If that does not work -- replace the coolant level sensing switch
