I have a 1994 saturn sc2 that has been have problems with shifting. It feels
like it has problems finding gears so i replaced the valve body, but it is still
doing the same thing. Now i am starting to think that it might be the Trans
Control Module. I am not sure and would like some help before i waste more
money. Let me know if you have any ideas or know where the Trans Control
Module is located. Thanks.

The TCM is intergrated into the PCM and I highly doubt that is your problem. What year valve body did you put into the car? It makes a huge difference. Sometimes even the same year valvebody wont work correctly.

i put a 1993 saturn sc2 valve body into it, do you know what year works the
best with my model. that would be very helpful and could it possibly be
anything other than the valve body. Let me know. Thanks everyone.

I'll have to check the parts book for sure. But 1993 and 1994 should be compatable.

Did you put a new, rebuilt or used valvevody in?

starting to act better but when i come from a high speed and then slow
down and accelerate the transmission starts to knock and takes a minute to
find the gear it wants. let me know. thanks!!

Its always a shot in the dark installing a used valvebody. Most people dont properly take care of their cars, chances are very slim that you'll find a used valvebody in good condition. Simply removing a valvebody from one car, installing it in another and adding fresh fluid can cause hidden problems to come up.

Not trying to post jack, but I have an 93ls2 that is doing the same thing. I've tried two low mileage tranny's with no luck and a new valve body with no luck. It won't shift and no reverse. My only other option is the ECU or is there something else that could cause this.
