1993 SW2 Engine code 19
I posted a few months ago with my previous issue, on my 1993 SW2 I was getting codes 41 and 42 . Not being experienced in wiring trouble shooting and parts being relatively inexpensive, I installed new spark plug wires, new ignition control module, new coils and new ignition switch (commutator), and a used salvage yard PCM.
After those installs I'm NOT getting 41 and 42 codes anymore but I am getting a code 19 which according to my shop manual could be ignition control module, PCM or crankshaft position wiring or those components failing. Since the ignition control module is new , maybe it's the salvage yard PCM or crankshaft sensor need replacement ?
I'm still getting some erratic starting...dash lights all light up, most times you can hear the fuel pump, sometimes not. Sometimes it starts immediately, sometimes you have to turn the key back and forth before it starts. It has always eventually started up , and when it starts , it seems to run smooth . Lately I've only taken it for short rides locally until I get this figured out.
Thanks for any info !

Put the original PCM back in.
If you changed five parts at once, which from your post it sounds like you did, you've made it incredibly difficult to figure out which one cleared your earlier codes and which one is causing the code 19. I need to look up in my 91 to 93 S car Chilton manual to review code 19 possibilities. A PCM not programmed for your vehicle conceivably May make a mess to sort out. If the original was not proven to be bad, put the original PCM back in as step one and see what you get. Please post codes after doing so
