Default Rear disc brakes on a 2004 L300 ?

Are the calipers floating on the rear disc bakes on my 2003 L300 ? I'm installing new pads and the inside pad doesn't want to fit.

Post title says 2004. Post itself says 2003. Please clarify. Also, have you double checked the correct parts were ordered and that the parts in the box or actually what they say they are on the box?

sorry it's a 2004. I'm going to do the drivers side tonight when I pick up the rotors that had to be turned.

The rear calipers do not float on the L series cars. The inner and outer pads are exactly the same. Open the bleeder before pushing the pistons all the way back in. If the pistons stick at all get rebuilt calipers.
