I was told by a mechanic that 2001 l200 drum brakes could be removed and replaced with disc brakes by ordering l300 brakes. At this point I have purchased all 4 rotors, calipers,brake pads, lines, and all hardware kits. Will I have to replace the exsisting backing plate on the l200 ,on the new caliper packaging it says there is no bracket its"direct fit" if so does anyone know where to purchase a set
