new temp sensor

Well, I have not seen one come apart that way, but I suppose it could happen. More often, the actuation arm comes loose from the sensing device, and jams the thermostat in an open position. Coolant never reaches operating temp when driving. When sitting idling, no air going through radiator, so coolant warms up to proper temp, and everything looks good ...
