Help please

Default Help please

Not the issue. I have the correct bulb. I just cant seem to get the bulb in the cradle. I know I sound like an idiot but I've tried everything.

I had that problem once.
Turned out the new bulb was longer than the original.

Not that problem. I have the correct bulbs. I just cant seem to get the bulb seated in its cradle. I know I sound like an idiot but I am seriously having a problem.

Please post a photo with the bulb in as far as you can get it so we can see exactly what you are working with. Use the icon it looks like a picture above where you type text to post

Also, given the age of the vehicle, there may be corrosion in the socket that is literally taking up part of the gap where the bulb is supposed to fill. You may need to send the metal parts at the base and on the tab inside the socket. Obviously do not do this while the light is supposed to be on unless you like getting zapped.

Did you have an excessive amount of trouble removing the bulb previously in there?
