i have an LW300 wagon and i broke the wand off my wiper switch, i have a replacement on order. does anyone know if it''s easy to replace yourself or do you need to take the steering wheel off? is there anywhere online i can find a guide for doing so? any help is much appreciated.

It is somewhat a complicated process, so if you have not done it before, I would seriously consider having a professional handle the fix. Chiltons Manual for your car has all the details if you plan on doing it yourself. I do not know of any site on the Internet that has step-by-step instructions. Good luck ...

Actually an L-series is just a matter of pulling up on and removing the top half of the steering shroud disconnecting the connector and squeezing the two tabs and pulling it out,can stick sometimes but will come out
