I tried swapping the stock head unit with an aftermarket one. I used the metra 70-2002 harness to do the swap but I didn’t put out any sound. I found out my car doesn’t have a factory amp. Has someone been able to do the swap without having to wire each speaker to the new unit or is that my only option?

 

I tried a Metra harness and they are not correct for L series cars. I cut off the factory harness plug and wired it direct.
