Parts - Looking for a trailing arm bushing
I'm replacing my 02 L100 rear trailing arm bushings using a combination of bought bushing press tools, and fabricated tools from 1.5" cast iron plumbing parts... and patience. These are pressed into the large steel trailing arm casting, and one of the rear ones, both sides, is obstructed, so it's a special PIA. Yes, a German seller on eBay has a specific kit, but a month or more to get it delivered. Some videos on YouTube of removal and replacement on the Saab 9-5. Another Canadian guy removed the entire swinger to tackle it. His was an L100.
No sure what my mechanic used, but he replaced them and the ones that came from Rock Auto appeared to be the correct ones. This problem is solved. Now I have to get new ends for the fuel lines so I can replace the fuel filter.
