I have a* 2001 L200 with the 2.2 ecotech in it.* 5 speed manual.* I joined hoping i could get some help on where to obtain performance parts and fluids for the transmission and coolant mainly.* Thanks.Touchless

Performance parts might be tough ... but "fluids"?

No..no. Not performance fluids. But where to get the fluids for the transmission and radiator.

Where would you guess you might get fluids for a car? Payless shoes BOGO sale, TacoBell, maybe call KODAK and ask them if they sell fluids for your car.

I know i don' use atf fluid in it. As for the radiator it has red fluid in it. I have not seen that in stores. Could it be the dealers fluid? Can I just flush it and put like some prestone in it? But my transmission is a little rough from gear to gear...that is why i want to change the fluid. Its a lil higher on the list than the radiator.

The L series manual transmission uses regular Dextron ATF, just like the S-Series. Nothing special about it.
