Thanks derf, after taking a better look at the pictures I realized it wasn't a Haynes. But thank you for specifying what manual it is.
I don't know how expensive one of those Saturn Service manuals would be, especially now. After trying to find one for my 2000 Ford Ranger I pretty much gave up looking; They were just too expensive.

My condolences Rubehayseed regarding your Mother's passing.
My Mom will be 84 this June so she's way younger than your Mother was (101, just awesome). My Mom gets around better than I do( she has some aftermarket parts, I'm still running OEM ) and she shows no signs of slowing down which is why I want to give her a better solution to her viewing issue than just another seat cushion.
So I really do appreciate any help from you guys here on this forum.

Hey EdK, thanks. Mom died in 2014 on one of my older brothers birthday. That's okay though, because he's a sicko. Wife abuser and pedophile. Two other relatives have also died on his birthday over the years. He's just no damned good. I sure hope your Mom keeps kicking butts and taking names for a long time. I miss my mother every day, but at least she can see now and has no pain where she is and that's AWESOME!!!

Hi guys, just checking in.
A lot has been going on since I originally posted this thread and well, things just have a way of getting in the way, ya know?
So this project got put on hold for quite some time. But I'm still interested in putting a better seat in for her if and when I can find one.
I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone who has posted and tried to help so far. It is appreciated.

Welcome back, I have a very nice LW 300 now with 180 miles to go to 100,000 miles. I gave my L200/5 to a grandson since you were last here.

LW is the wagon version, right? Even more room for tools lol.
I'll tell ya, if Mom's L300 wasn't so low to the ground, I'd be getting it from her when she's ready to get something else. It's been a good car. I forget what year my step Dad got it but it wasn't that old.
Mom's L300 has been sitting for a few months now since she fell and broke her neck Christmas Eve. She's healed now, but she needs a hip replacement, it was supposed to be done yesterday but they had to reschedule. She won't be driving for a month or two once she gets the replacement.
I would like to find and install a better seat for her so it's ready when she's able to drive again. It would be great for everybody if she could see above the steering wheel for a change.
I've been busy trying to get my 2000 Ford Ranger 2.5L back on the road so that's been taking up most of my time. I've been having a hard time tracking down Motorcraft parts for it since most of them have been discontinued. I started getting frustrated after a few days of parts searching and figured I'd shift gears and try again to find an electric seat that raises and lowers for her L300. But I guess my parts search clutch must be slippin' because I'm getting nowhere with either vehicle.

Andy,
I'm still out of work
PM me what you're looking for. I believe I have enough time to search every nook and cranny of the net on your behalf.
