Default Drum to disc conversion?

Hi guys, new to the site.
I have a 2000 Saturn LS1, 2.2L with the gm auto transmission (4t40?). I've always trouble with drum brakes and was wondering if a conversion is possible, from drums to disc brakes in the rear. I was wondering if SL1 knuckles/arms were compatible. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

L cars only take L parts. S parts do not fit. Later L cars came with disc brakes and they bolt on, but you need all the parts including part of the park brake cables.

Appreciate the info, I'll definitely look further forward in model years and work on a plan. Thank you!

Most 2002 have discs and I have had a 2003 that was non abs and drums.

I looked around and I feel like an 01 L100 would be the best fit, the problem is finding rear knuckles/arms. All my local junkyards don't even have a saturn. Any insight on a website that might help?

The suspension including the rear hubs are the same, disc and drum. All years of L series are the same. Saab stuff will probably work also, the car is a 2900 GM chassis. The critical parts are only going to be available used, you can buy new rotors and rebuilt calipers. But you need the lines, brackets and cables also.

I took a peek at the rears, and hubs/sizing stuff checks out but I couldnt find where the caliper brackets would bolt up to so hence why I was thinking about replacing trailing arms
