2003 L200 Odometer and Coolant level warning light
Recently I had the water pump on my 2003 L200 replaced. However, I am still losing coolant just not as quickly. The car does NOT overheat. While going thru this the hood latch cable broke and I had it replaced. When I got it back the odometer backlight and the coolant level warning light are not working.. I do have an appointment next week with the mechanic. Just thought I would mention it here to see if maybe it’s a fuse or something simple. Thanks so much!
The odometer backlight is a replaceable led only available at the dealer. The low coolant light is triggered by the BCM and those are soldered in led lights. I wonder if the garage left the sensor disconnected while replacing the water pump?
