2000 Ls1(stick) Replaced transmission still won't move
#11
You're back, good. Maybe we can help you with your car.
I reread the posts and from what I understand the first problem you had was a wheel bearing fail.
The transmission and clutch worked fine at the time of the wheel bearing failure.
Is that correct?
When you got the car back it made a horrible noise when you turned. And it quit driving 3 days later.
Is this correct?
When you put it in gear and let out the clutch what happens?
Do you have a safe way to jack up one front wheel? You will need to do this on each side unless you know which side the wheel bearing was replaced. Do that side first. You need to put the transmission in first gear not running. With the wheel off the ground spin the wheel if you can and see if the axle turns with the wheel. Look behind the wheel to see the axle. I suspect that the axle failed on the side that they changed the wheel bearing. If they changed the wheel bearing at all.
Let us know and we will help you.
