Default Trunk whether seal replacement

Bit of a silly question but if you were replacing this part on an 07 Ion would you purchase a used one from a salvage yard for 10 bucks or a new one online for like 35 bucks tax and shipping included? Just was curious about what others would choose. Is this a part you'd rather have new?

Thanks

New. New. New.

Junkyard one is probably no better than yours especially after being jammed closed and permanently deformed by the trunk possibly for up to 17 years.

New.

I agree with derf. If you are keeping the car, then definitely get the new one. No runs, no drips, no leaks.
