Growing up w the internet apparently has in fact changed how you interact with people. Do you take anything to heart?
Us old-timers, as in the two generations before yours, when we thank someone, even if they couldn't quite help us, we just say thank you and move on down the road.
Not "thank you, I think" which consciously displays disrespect and of course means the opposite of what it says.
Is that the phrase you use replying to anyone who can't directly help you with something?
Of all the things we let fly on this forum, genuine disrespect from noobies is not one of them, irrespective of generation and irrespective of whether you grow up with Al Gore's invention.
Not spending any more time in my life on this Ill never get back.
