Default Transaxle

Anyone know how to check Transmission fluid in the 3.5 l in a 2007 Aura. no dipstick....how much fluid ?

The oil level control plug (65) is located on the torque converter side of the transmission.
Car Level fluid should be up to the hole.

Make sure the vehicle is up to full operating temp (go for a peppy drive). The thermal expansion coefficient is large, so you want it full at operating temperature.

If it is not dribbling out of the level check plug, add the correct transmission fluid until it is, since the only reliable way to tell how far below the hole the level is is to raise the fluid level slightly until it is just dripping from the level check hole with the car being level.

Protect your hands from burns while removing and reinstalling the level check plug.
