Good luck with it, Lynn. Like I said, if you tell us where you are and we have a member in your area, they may offer to help you. If you're close to Lake Wales, Florida, I'll come help you. Two disabled people working on a Saturn. Someone would have to get video! LOL I'll expect a cold beer or two, though.

Ok Lynn let’s discuss your car and its problems. The p2430 is a secondary air pump issue and should not affect drivablility at all. What problems are you having, I suspect transmission problems since you asked for help with a sensor.
We will help if we can!

Thank you I posted it on feed

If you drained the 4t45 transmission by dropping the pan you need 7 quarts to refill to the proper level.

hi there did not drop pain this time should i have just did it so if i didnt the. Level should be okay with 4.5 quarts

Is there a drain plug on your trans? My Lw300 did not have a drain plug so I dropped the pan. Either way if you drain the pan it holds 7 quarts.

Lynn Ross 04-24-2018 12:06 AM

Yes there is a drainplug on side they were saying the torque converter held approximately 3 quarts and not to put more in it should I add more to the car

From what I can find the transmission holds 10 quarts if completely empty. That includes the torque converter that holds 3. So I would put some more oil in it and see what happens.

Found the problem torque convertor

Okay so finally got tired of it sitting so called mobile mechanic
no codes nothing the engine perfect no codes
But after researching it every symptom it has points to the torque convertor so my questions is to verify my transmission is the 6t40 and the GM number I found 24239678 are there sub numbers
For this part also found this part number but cannot get AutoZone to locate one 3230908075
please can someone help me thank you

Please I need help

The drain and refill on a 6t40 is 4.5 to 6.5 quarts. I would still try a little more oil. The transmission has to be removed to replace the torque converter. You may need a professional transmission shop help, they will be able to properly diagnose your problem. It may be a simple solenoid problem.
