My two cents are both posted above and thanks to the manners of the previous poster we have no idea whether he figured it out or not. That's goofy that the Left Right adjustment adjust the height unless it is to keep from blinding on coming drivers. Maybe a shim underneath?blinding Undesirable but functional. Maybe.

 

My L series headlights have two adjusters. They are both labeled L/R, however one is up and down and the other is left and right. My recommendation is to try the adjuster and see if it is simply mislabeled like my car.
