The exact words from the bill state they found a leak in the pcv system due to a fault in the camshaft cover. The guy I talked to said valve cover so I don't know if there is any difference. The real kicker is they did a warranty replacement of the takata airbags without making a mention of it. The story isn't over yet though as the car runs fine now, but the same engine code is on for the MAF.

Go kick some ***. You paid to have it fixed and it isn't. Do not pay one more dollar. They told you it was fixed. It isn't (completely). Not your fault.
Ask for a new MAP. If they say they they forgot to address it after diagnosis, politely ask them how does that financially become your issue?


I wouldn't want to bring up the airbag thing again, but you NEVER do work on other people's rides without their permission and certainly without express notification.

the cam cover must have been malformed in some way or cracked, or again, they were bull****ting you
