you could rebuild it! I did. Spent $1500 on rebuilding the engine on a car that was only worth about $700. But then again, I've been told that I'm not too smart - especially by my wife?

But you now have a car with a "new" engine in it that's cheap to drive, easy on gas, and cheap to insure and BEST OF ALL, it's paid for! No full coverage insurance or $600 a month car note. To me that's not crazy, that's brilliant! Drive the hell out of it.
