Hello all,
I have a 2001 Saturn SC-2, both poer mirrors dont work, and when I depress the adjustment button the "Trunk Open" light on the dash lights up.
Any ideas ?
Thanks,

Truly whack....it never gets dull here.....
I'm gonna guess it's a grounding issue---the mirror switch probably shares its hot lead with a whole slew of things. Likewise there is shared grounding arrangement for these devices.
Not unlike the taillights of my 1980 Ford Grenada back in the day, it's truly amazing what one bad (read: non-existent) ground can do for a circuit which relies on multiple grounds. Basically, the lack of that ground can create many more unexpected paths for current to travel --paths it was never intended to travel .......
I'm thinkin if you check the mirror switch, you'll find that either the ground side is not grounded (w/r/t chassis ground) -- then it becomes a wire tracing exercise to determine where the missing ground is
OR
the switch is just bad.
