well i dont know if its a 1.9 dohc thing but it seems to get real hot before the fan kicks on. itll get a little past the last notch before the red mark then kick on. if its just regular is there some type of mod to fix it

 

Going to the 3/4 (a/c off) mark is about normal. With the A/C on the fan stays on so it never gets that high.
