I have 2000 SC1 that has 292,000 plus miles and has finally given it's all. It still
runs but has only about 110 lbs compression in cylinder all others have around
145 lbs compression. Doesn't run so good.
I have an identical car to take engine out of except that it has an automatic
trans and is a DOHC and the car it is going into is a SOHC with manual trans. Do
I need to change the engine control module with the donor engine? Or will it work with the module from SOHC engine?
If I need to change it will it plug in with no mods.
Also will the flywheel and manual trans bolt on ok?

You will have fewer headaches if you just replace it with another single cam engine.
