2000 SL2 3-Door - On the drivers door, the lock stopped engaging both by inside lever (above door handle) and by the key in the door lock. Have taken off the inside door trim and have figured out which bars are for door latch and which bars are for door lock (both vertical and horizontal). The door handle horizontal bar is currently attached to nothing (my fault); was moving it trying to get a mental picture of how everything was attached and it just let loose????

Anyway it would help tremendously to see a diagram at the door lock mechanism of (where the door latches).

Yes. Been out in the garage workin on it.
