Textbook symptoms of bad ECTS......(yes I read the posts above)

 

You say its cold out. Most likely just water vapor out the exhaust

Actually, this has been going on since August, but was intermitten until the last few wks. Now it''s every time the car runs (after a few minutesSES light, rough idle, hesitation, white smoke smelling of gas, loss of power). Again, leads me to believe it''s some type of sensor that is kicking in/clogging up shortly after warm-up. Still cold, snowy, rainy here, so will try to clean EGR in the next 48 hrs as I don''t have access to covered parking or a garage. Beyond that, looks like I''m gonna take her to the shop, and spend my hard earned coin! Wish my buddy knew about cars...Heck, at this point, I hope it''s the EGR! Happy Holidays!
